Andrew Thornton is Co-Founder and Director of The Customer Edge – a specialist advisory business focusing on customer centric, customer engagement and customer experience management strategies and their implementation.
Andrew is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Australian Marketing Institute.
He is also a Director of Bridge Street Consulting, specialists in growth strategy development and implementation.
Andrew‘s philosophy in engaging with clients is as an adviser and coach, not as a consultant in the more conventional sense.
Prior to moving into consulting, Andrew held senior executive positions with market leading organisations including Transurban, Pacific Micromarketing, St. George Bank, Optus and AMP.
Andrew is a Graduate of the David Syme Business School, Monash University; a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI) and a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM).
He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and a Graduate of the Harvard Leadership Program.
He is Chairman of the National Board of the Australian Marketing Institute (www.ami.org.au) and Deputy Chair of the Australian Society for Progress and Wellbeing (www.aspw.asn.au). He is a former Director of the Australian Direct Marketing Association.
